- Dress according to the weather. Our boat is equipped with an enclosed cockpit but early mornings and darker days can bring cold weather especially on the water.
- A cooler for food and beverages and to take home your catch.
- Soft soled shoes or sneakers
- A NYS fishing license is required for everyone over 16 on board.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen
- Motion sickness medicine if needed

What to Expect on Your Trip..
We target primarily Trout and Salmon on all our fishing charters using trolling methods. Trolling is basically using the motor of the boat for the lures motion or action and covering areas that commonly hold fish. Trolling requires no casting or 'setting' of a hook which enables the angler to relax and enjoy the view while still presenting bait to fish. Once a strike is indicated we will secure the fish and hand the rod to the next angler ready! We use a variety of different tools to get our baits to the required depth such as downriggers and dipsey divers. Typically there will be a mate on board to set and organize the fishing rods while the Captain concentrates on placing the boat in desired locations. The species of fish you will see is predominately Lake Trout with Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and 'Landlocked' Atlantic Salmon mixed in. We can also specifically target your desired choice. We offer Perch fishing trips as well which are operated out of a different style boat rigged for that type of fishing including electric trolling motors and an underwater camera. The Winter season on both lakes can also be phenomenal, as they don't freeze, and we offer discounted prices for Winter season trips. Expect a lot of action if you can brave the elements! We will always have the best suggestion on where to depart based on success during that time of year but fish can be found not far from any popular state park or public boat launch. It's also worth the extra few miles sometimes for the customer to have a more productive day on the water.
